Prologue
Erin the keeper of the seal was surrounded by Vanessa and her warriors of the dark... the guardians of the seal were pinned down apart from Alice daughter of Nyx goddess of night and her warrior Chase...
"Leave her alone", Alice pants, her wings covered in blood, swords drenched by dark warriors who have fallen by her blades...
"Ah pitiful Alice, u try so hard to protect your keeper, you will pay for what you did to my sister", Vanessa hisses.
Erin puts her hand on Alice’s shoulder.
"Alice don't",
"No I must, we must, protect the seal",
"Alice its useless without me",
"I know but",
"Alice don't, I know what to do",
Erin puts something in Alice’s hand, then walks to the edge of the perimeter between the realm of gods and the human/vampire world. Alice looks at what’s in her hand and the seal is there.
"Goodbye Alice",
"Erin don't", Alice exclaims
"No!” Vanessa screams.
No one can stop her. Erin falls to the other realm she lets her soul get put into a new body and becomes a human. Alice falls to her knees clutching the seal and lets out a terrifying roar of pain and loss, so terrifying that, the earth shakes, water bubbles, trees explode, Volcano's erupt. Vanessa has no choice but to flee for now.

Erin puts something in Alice’s hand, then walks to the edge of the perimeter between the realm of gods and the human/vampire world. Alice looks at what’s in her hand and the seal is there.

Chapter 1: Erin
"Erin get up your late for your orientation day at that new school", mum yells from the stairs.
"Alright mum!" I yelled back.
I was 16, and when some teenagers turn 16 they are marked by Nyx as fledgling vampires and had to go Avalon high a mystical creature school. I had lovely blonde hair, Blue eyes, and a perfects smile as well as body shape I only weighed 59kgs.
I had packed my suit case last night since the vampires that go to Avalon high are boarders to the school.
I hadn’t gotten any sleep because I was too excited to see who my new room mates were.
I jump up and slides down stairs, I had been dressed since 3 am and she grabbed some coffee and had some lucky charms.
"Erin baby u need to stop being so human like",
"ok mum I know u are a vampire and so is dad but please be human some time",
"Erin don’t your mother is correct!"
"But dad",
"No buts Erin",
"Ha, ha, Erin",
"Not now Claire",
"ok dad",
"Dad I liked being human and I don’t want to be as cold as u are"
"Erin!",
"What mum! No I can’t take it I’m going out",
"No you’re not Erin",
"What are you going to do about it"
In a flash my parents are in the doorway.
"Erin you are not going out tonight it’s your first day at school and we're teachers",
"No mum I am going out tonight I can’t deal with you two being so anti-human",
"you know that humans are dangerous they killed your grandparents in the 19th century",
"Dad, humans have accepted us in society and all of my friends well not all but some of them are humans, now good bye", I sigh then walks past them.
"Erin don’t, you know your mothers the high priestess of the vampires at Avalon high…”
"Dad, I don’t care at all", I yell cutting my father off
"Erin, honey don’t", mum says holding a ball of fire.
"Bite me! wait no torch me",
"Erin you're asking for it", my dad warns, then mum throws the ball at me, I turn and somehow I make water shoot out from a tree and block the fire.
"Not that powerful are you Mum", I smile triumphantly
My parents look at me stunned as I get into my car and drive to my best friends Enya's house. When I arrive I knocks on the door.
"Hey Enya can I come in" I call through the door.
Enya opens the door. "Oh hey Erin sure, Claire and I were just getting packed", Enya smiles.
Enya had reddish brown hair and had glasses and braces though she will be getting them out soon, she was very skinny and loved to read, "she's read like I don’t know 50’000 books over the years I’ve known her maybe more, and her dad and mum were split up but her dad was Irish", I think and he was cool and very funny, Claire had brown hair, lovely eyes and freckles though they make her look a lot hotter, she loved to draw and is currently drawing a design to a book I’m writing called Bloodlust: Lost memories, Claire was skinny but not as skinny as Enya and she was wearing a black T with a superman sign rainbow colored.
"Hey E" Claire said smiling.
"Hey Claire" I reply smiling warmly.
Claire lived with Enya most of the time cause her parents were in Paris and allowed her to stay with Enya cause of how good Enya's parents were and the fact that Claire's Mum and Enya's dad were friends since they were babies, so Claire moved in with them.
I walked in and we got settled in Enya's and Claire's room they shared.
"So E whets up OMG I’m so excited we're starting vampire school, together the three of us, oh and Jasmine, just remember that Jasmine is a year older than us",
"Enya, I'm pissed at my rentals",
"Oh spiciest again",
"Yeap",
"That sucks royally, I mean u being a pure blood vampire and all",
"I know Claire my parents are so judgmental on humans I mean WTF I know I’m like one of like 20 vampire pure bloods in the whole world but come on",
"Yeah E, But that’s a big thing, Pure bloods are powerful as, more than a normal high priestess, it’s the pure blood high priestesses that make the vampire high council in Capri"
"I know Enya and my parents expect me to hate humans like they do but I can't, I simply can’t", I say all frustrated.
"Don't worry E, My dad will take us to school for orientation day, I heard that the rooms are rooms for four people big enough to fit like 10 but they only put four in a room and of course boy dorms and girl dorms",
"Cool I’ll go with u then",
"No prob E",
"Girls come on time to go to school",
"Ok dad!" Enya calls.
The three girls rush down and Enya's dad meets them at the stairs.
"You three ready?"
"Sure are", we answer.
We get into the car and drive to school where my parents are at the front gate, they are the schools high priest and priestess, you'd think that every vampire couple would have pure blood children but it turns out pure bloods are from a long line of original vampires, like my first ancestor was Persephone, pure blood vampire queen and when a pure blood and a vampire get together there off spring are usually pure bloods well the eldest child is a pure blood.
Chapter 2: The Guardians of the Seal
The other four guardians stayed next to their leader Alice.
The five Guardians of the seal are known for their fighting skills throughout time, they have defeated armies without any soldiers. the reason is they have all taken a form apart from Alice who's from can change thus the reason she is the most powerful, her most trusted and best friend is Ceres took the form of Cerberus and his armor is Cerberus's body and the three heads make up the two shoulder plates and helmet, he uses two Dual God Great swords and is the strongest.
The next is Drake, he took the form of a mighty Dragon, the head is his helmet, the wings and spikes are his back plate, he has the ability to fly, the dragons scales are the chest plate, and he has a spiked tail, he uses dual Katana's.
The next is Alice's friend from when she was young, Lauren, she joined the order when Alice founded the seal during the war between the gods and the titans, Lauren took the form of a Leviathan, she has the head as a chest plate, its spikes back is the back plate and the remaining of its body becomes a goddess chainmail skirt that is impenetrable, and the tail stays as a tail. Lauren uses power blades made from pure light and a ninja kunai with chain also made from light.
The last of Alice's friends and guardians besides the keeper is Petra, she also joined when the seal was founded and was close friends with Lauren, Petra took the form of Pegasus the mighty winged horse, she has the chest plate of the mighty black stallions head, her armor is pure black and she has wings from the winged horse, and fights with switchblades, she likes the air and mainly fight the creatures of the sky.
Alice herself likes to stay in her fallen angel form, she has black wings and shining armor made from Lightning, she likes to use Wrist Blades and always has two latched to her wrist armor, she also has two Katana’s strapped on her back and around her wings, and two strapped to her waist one on either side, she is also being the daughter of a goddess and an angel an elementalist.
Erin the keeper is Lauren's twin sister and became the seal keeper when the seal chose her, she became closer to Alice, she has a normal human/goddess form, the seal chose her as the keeper and she has been granted goddess like powers from each god and goddess because the seal is the ultimate weapon that brought down the titans, it had power from every god and goddess in it.
Chapter 3: Raven and Sky
“Love stories don’t exist”, I said to myself.
This is the second time this year I’ve mistaken a jerk as a boyfriend and it’s only January. “Twice Raven, Twice how could you make the same mistake twice this year already and it’s still the first month what’s with you girl!” my best friend Jasmine was babbling next to me as we walked down the corridor at our school Avalon high. “I know jazzy but I can’t help it”, I whined as we walked to the assembly room. Today there was some rich new kid coming here well not rich, rich as in royalty apparently he’s the prince of elves and the forest, which means he’s practically the prince of everything because elves are considered nobles, figures doesn’t it, and as the principle’s daughter I need to welcome him at the assembly great! “Earth to Raven, Hello Raven are you in there?” Jasmines voice broke my train of thought and her hand waved in front of my eyes, naturally my instincts kick in and go to smack her hand away from my face but Jasmine moves it at the last second and… “AH!” I scream as I hit myself smack in my face then trip down the stairs. I get up slowly my whole body aching, I then notice everyone looking my way. “NO!” I scream again and run outside as fast as my disobedient aching body would carry me, out of the corner of my eye I see Jasmine following me her abnormal speed catching up to me easily, Jasmine was a Vampyre. I finally get outside and shove my body against the wall and slump down so that I’m sitting on the ground, I felt my heart throbbing against my chest as Jasmine plopped down next to me. “So Raven what are you thinking about this new guy I hear he’s the best at like everything and he loves animals but I also hear he’s single and kind of a loner, oh and Erin the new girl is my friend from high school, she was a year younger than me”, Jasmine says poking me. I brush her hand away gently and get up and walk back to our room without another word.
“Speak now” was what father said to me.
We were in the throne room when he declared against my wishes that I would be attending Avalon high the school for magical beings. I didn’t speak out against him but I didn’t speak to him at all after that, I just packed my things ready for school, I don’t even get why father is sending me there, says I’ll finds my destiny or something but whatever I’m just going to try to survive without being killed or something worse. After I finished packing I was almost ready to leave. “Are you ready to leave prince Sky?” a sweet and teasing voice calls from my chariot. “Not yet Selena! I’ll be right back”, I call to her and then run inside and grab my guitar then run back out and hop into the chariot. The ride takes about an hour but it felt like forever when we arrived I was expecting a giant welcoming comity or something but no! Instead no one as around. As Selena unpacked my things off the chariot I grabbed my guitar and started strumming away playing one of the songs written by the human musician Taylor swift. “You said, I remember how we felt sitting by the water and every time I look at you it’s like the first time… I fell in love with a careless man’s careful daughter… you are the best thing that’s ever been Mine”, I sing away wondering where everyone is.
Chapter 4: A New Friend
“Raven, Hey Raven”, Jasmine calls in my ear. “Yeah what………” I reply. “What time were you supposed to meet that prince?” “Um 11:30 why”, “It’s almost 12, Raven Your late!” “Oh… Shit! Meet you at assembly!” I gasp getting up and rushing around to the front gate as I approach I hear a guitar and a guy singing. “He said, I remember how we felt sitting by the water and every time I look at you it’s like the first time… I fell in love with a careless man’s careful daughter… you are the best thing that’s ever been Mine”,
I turn to see an elf strumming away on his guitar singing that song by my favorite artist Taylor Swift. I slowly approach always cautious like I learned I may be a mixture of beings but I was found by my mother not born, I was always weary around new comers.
“Are-Are you the prince…” I say hating the fact that my voice sounded like a little girl who had lost her mother in a crowd of people. The boy gets up and bows formally, not knowing what to do 1I bow back. “Yes, my name is Sky, Prince of the elves and the forest”, he says and bows formally. “It’s great to meet you but uh, we’re late for assembly, and there’s also another new kid who I need to welcome to this school”, I sigh. “So um… why was this school created on this certain place… it seems ancient”, Sky says looking around as we walk to assembly. “It is ancient”, I reply not looking at him even though all girls usually look at idols or royalty. “How?” “This school was built 2000 years ago on the battle field of the Guardians of the Seal, the most powerful guardians of Avalon the kingdom of heaven has ever know”, I explain.
We walked in complete silence until we reach the great hall, inside the hall there’s five statues dedicated to the guardians, Petra the Pegasus mistress, Drake the Dragon lord, Lauren the Leviathan shifter, Ceres the Cerberus Warrior and at the end the largest and most detailed, Alice the mistress of heaven, legend says that she is the child of good an evil. When we walk past to the assembly Jasmine run’s up with some girl I’ve never seen before.
“Finally we found you, Geez Raven you forgot to meet Erin at the gate, she’s already in her room and everything you are out of it girl!” Jasmine laughs.
“Oh… My bad I’m sorry, you must be Erin the Vampyre pure blood”, I say and fake a smile even though I felt like ripping all my long black hair out.
“Meanie… ha ha I’m joking”, I reply to the girl with the Black hair and perfect shaped body.
“My Name is Erin… Vampyre pure blood”, I say the last part not hiding the fact that I hate the fact that I’m a pure blood.
“Hi my name is Raven”, she reply’s and holds her hand to shake. I go to shake but she grips my wrist, I then feel stupid for forgetting the traditional Vampyre shake instead of hands we grip wrists and shake stupid stupid me!
“And this is Prince Sky”, she gestures to the cute looking elf next to her. “Nice to meet you prince Sky”, I bow formally. “Ladies your late oh and you too prince Sky”, a voice calls from a door not far from us. “Okay mum we’re on our way”, Raven calls back. “Well that’s my queue, I’ll see you later Raven, you too E”, Jasmine calls and runs off and into a door further down. “Well… follow me to the assembly you guys are honored guest now and for a long time”, Raven sighs gesturing for us to follow. “Hang on Raven I’m just going to get my guitar may as well make a good impression aren’t I right”, Sky grins at Raven and laughs as he whistles and a wolf runs in carrying his guitar case in its jaws.
“Thanks buddy”, He says exquisitely and rubs the wolf on its head and then comes back to us. “There we go I’m ready now”, he laughs holding his guitar up. I frown at him but walk behind Raven into the door. I was so nervous my stomach felt like it was going to explode inside my body, I had a head ache and somehow I knew that something was going to happen good or bad either way something was going to happen I just know it is.
Chapter 5: Assembly
I try to keep my stomach from hurling my lunch up all over everything. I tie my black hair up and put a headband on so that my hair wasn’t a mess and continue walking up the few steps onto stage followed by Erin and Sky. As soon as the girls see Sky they scream loudly and applause yelling all sorts of crazy things. I see Erin looking nervous and go over to her. “It’s ok Erin it’s only an assembly like any other assembly”, I smile reassuring her that is was alright and everything would be ok. “It’s not the amount of students it’s my parents they are teachers here and I had a fight with them this morning”, she reply’s in a tone that made me worry. I look along the isle of teachers and find the two that look the most like Erin and shrink back, her parents looked seriously scary, both pure blood Vampyre’s like her, I know why she is worried, not to worry I’ll have them off her back easily. “Don’t worry Erin my mother is the principle at this school so I’ll get her to tell your parents to be good with you, anyway there parenting isn’t allowed to interfere with you schooling so you have nothing to worry about”, I pat her back and smile. I then step up onto the soapbox and speak into the microphone. “As you all may know we have many students that are new and I welcome you all to this school, up here are two special new students as you may know, This is Erin pure blood Vampyre , as many of you are familiar with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Van Dyke. And of course we have the honor of Prince Sky of the elves, now before you all decide to rush up on stage t crowd the prince he has insisted on performing on his guitar for us”, I announce clearly and confidently into the microphone then step back so that Sky could speak then perform and I’m sure he’s got a band or something performing with him.
“Hello, as you all know I’m Prince Sky but please just call me Sky, I’m going to perform one of my favorite songs, it’s by the artist Jason Mraz I’m sure all of you have heard and performing on drums with me is my best friend who is also Attending this school, Selena would you come up here for me”, I smile into the microphone and whistle. Selena gets up and all the girls stare at her as she makes her way up to the stage and onto the drum kit. I then take my guitar out and plug it into the amplifier, I admit I’m impressed even though this school is 2000 years old it’s up to date with human and elf technology, I then pick a few strings on the guitar to make sure the amplifier was working, as I thought it was and I test the microphone by tapping it a few times. I then start strumming away sliding up and down the chords Selena doing the drum beat then I start singing into the microphone. “Well you done done me and you bet I felt it, I tried to beat you but you’re so hard that I melted, I fell right through the cracks… and now I’m trying to get back… before the cool done run out I’ll be giving it my bestest and nothings gonna stop me but divine intervention I reckon it’s again my turn…. To win some or learn some but I wont he-satate no more no more it can-not wait I’M YOURS” I strum away singing with Selena on the drums next to me, the crowd sings along with me until the song finishes I then bow and Selena bow’s too then goes and sits back down. I smile and put my guitar away then the whole school starts shaking and moving. I quickly yell into the Microphone “Duck!”
I get up my blonde hair blazing don’t know why though as a quick instinct reaction I throw Sky and Raven under a table near us then get back up, I then proceed to evacuate the room without any clue of what I’m doing, I rush around moving tables in and people under them, in my eye’s all their movements are slow unless I’ve done something to help them. “There we are everyone’s safe”, I sigh in relief and brush the sweat of my brows; I was acting ludicrous towards the earth quake.
“What the! How’d I get under the table next to you?” I yelled incredulously at Sky. I rub my head as I feel the building come down, ‘I peer out to see Erin standing their all flourished and red she looked like she just ran like 20 cross country races in a row’. I got up and ran to her knowing very well that I had no abilities that I knew of but still I had training and knew my athletic and martial arts, I run jumping and weaving through what felt like a soul storm I noticed that the only thing that didn’t crumble was the statue of the Keeper, she was the soul protector of the seal the most powerful weapon ever to have been created, strong enough to summon and control all of hell and heaven as well and sending you 900’000’000 years to the future or past, it stores parts of the powers bestowed on the gods of Olympus. All of a sudden I see something glowing on the statue and everything stops falling and reverses the entire fallen ruble goes back into place on the roof only leaving dust as a sign that the roof was falling. I get up all battered and bruised then gingerly walk towards the statue feeling it call to me, something wanted me and I couldn’t resist the force of its pull. I see everyone staring at me eye’s on me or the mysterious metallic purple orb that had formed in front of the statue, I could feel something about it, something dark and powerful, I try to get my body to run away from it but it wouldn’t listen it just walked on with a mind of its own. I see girls and boys of all species yelling at me but I can’t hear only three voices I can hear, Sky, Jasmine and Erin’s project into my mind. “Raven get back!” Erin, Sky and Jasmine yell in perfect unison, the voice breaks my track momentarily but still isn’t powerful enough to stop my walking. A hand reaches out of the orb and as if I knew it I take it and it pulls me through the small orb I have no idea how I even fit through it, it was just one of those random things that happen every now and then, one thing I definitely knew was going to happen, I was going to be grounded.
“Raven get back!” I yell my starting to run towards her my blonde hair lose but I’m too late Raven disappeared into the shiny metallic purple orb leading to only god knows what, I knew something bad was going to happen just knew it. I fall to my knees exhausted and faint where I fell.
I get up from under the table with a head ache the sound of the falling roof hurting my sensitive pointy ears, I had no idea what was going on around me the last thing I knew the roof was falling, I got thrown under a table and Raven disappeared and that was all I knew that happened, my favorite guitar was ruined but everyone was safe especially Selena, all I knew was that Selena was safe so I’m happy with that even though Raven is now missing but whatever she wasn’t my friend just someone I met, but she is the principle’s daughter so I should get my father to set up search teams to find her, will this school ever be normal again?……
Chapter 6: The Princess of Evil
On the other side of the orb I fall flat on my face. “Ouch!” I say as I get up and rub my now sore nose, I then look around me to see where I am and I freeze. Around me are high pillars with burning skulls and symbols that I swear I’ve seen before, in fact this whole place seemed familiar to me somehow, I look to see a figure in front of me and notice I’m in the centre of a pentagram a symbol of hell and all things evil, I run my hand over each mark, different symbols appear as my hand run’s over the outlined circle of the pentagram. “Do you remember it, you should after all it is your legacy”, the figure says to me in an all too much familiar tone of voice. “W-W-What?” I stumble over my words nervously. “Why don’t you remember, you should’ve by now since it took me 14 years to finally track you down”, the figure adds, I was feeling way to creped out to answer so I just scan the room for any doors. “Why me? what’s so special about me?” I ask looking straight at her. “The guardians must’ve taken your memories and bound you in a weak form”, the figure takes it’s hood off to reveal a young girl about 15-16 years old standing before me. “This must be a joke, ha ha ok guys very funny”, I say uneasily shrugging back and tripping over then start to slide away. “Sister your memories aren’t clear you need to slow down I’ll take care of this curse bestowed upon you by the guardians”, “Curse what curse, I want to just be me, my normal self with my friends at school, not in a play!” I screech cutting her off, I reach the back wall and try hitting it but end up with a sore hand… she slowly walks towards me her pale blue skin and blood red eyes peering at me like she can see into my soul. “I know what you are thinking”, she gets her face level with mine and ads “Big Sister”, she then grins and stands up letting her robes fall exposing her full body. Just examining her she was tall around 6”7, her whole body was pale blue, she wore some kind of scale like mini skirt and a ancient kind of upper boy garment, she had giant black bat wings protruding from her back, her long black hair out so that a long but thin piece covered one eye and the rest hang loosely around her upper back about belly button height. “The form of a demon princess, one which was taken away from you”, she says. I look at her, she looked so familiar but I don’t remember seeing her before or ever in my life. I run my hand over the symbols again and start to read aloud. “The Princess of all things evil shall return to claim her throne”, that sentence sent a shiver up my spine. “As you read dear sister you have finally returned to us after 19 years of poverty”, the girl says and puts her hand on my shoulder. “What… Am… I?” I ask looking at her blood red eyes. “You are too slow Raven, mum and dad didn’t get to name you so that is what you are called am I right?” She asks. “Well yeah, wait hang on hang on how come you know about me and I don’t even know a single thing about you”, I argue staring straight into her eyes, I still think she’s looking at my soul. “Again with the soul thing, were demon princess’ we don’t have souls got that, and once I finish this ritual you will return to us as our queen, mother and father would of loved to of been here but they were slaughtered long ago and I capture all of the guardians apart from the keeper who seemed to have disappeared for now but don’t worry we’ll get her won’t we big sister”, she laughs showing an evil grin on her face. I nod and then walk back to the centre of the circle. Perhaps this is the reason I never knew what I was, because no one could ever know, this explains everything about my coming to Avalon high and all the other things I should be able to do or be or see but I can’t do those things at all.
“Raven! Raven this isn’t funny, where are you!” Jasmine yells next to me, Sky has gone to check on Selena and now the whole school is missing its principle’s daughter great can this get better well I guess not, with all the commotion going on my parents definitely won’t ground me, but on the downside Raven is missing and I think that’s bad because if anyone knows this school better than anyone else it’s Raven, well that’s what Jasmine’s told me I hope this is all just a prank because if Raven’s missing this school is going to be messed up. “Jasmine this had better be one of Raven’s tricks”, I say with a sharp tone while looking under things at assembly, I’m so busy looking I didn’t notice the ghost like figure hovering over me. “Erin… there’s a ghost in front of you…” Jasmine’s voice trailed off. I look up and gasp then jump back as a shock then stare at it. It was the figure of a lady dressed in beautiful garments that symbolized the moon and the night, she wore the traditional clothes of my family so I knew exactly who she was. “Persephone…” my voice trailed off like Jasmine’s did, Persephone had the same name as the Olympian god Hades bride. “Very good child, I have come to return something to you”, she say and holds out her hands. In her hands was a glowing necklace I then peered at the statue of the Keeper and saw that it was the exact same necklace… The seal…
I went to the infirmary with Selena she had only sustained minor injuries but I don’t want to risk her life incase her wounds got infected by whatever can infect elves. “Sky I’ll be fine, don’t worry about me”, Selena smiles at me. “I know, you always are but it’s still not worth it, you mean everything to me”, “Sky please we could never…” “Shhh…….” I put my finger to her lips stopping her from talking then I use magic to create a new guitar because my old one was crushed by the earth quake. I walk out into the hall and grab the nearest phone dialing my father to tell him what has happened at the school and how Raven went missing when something caught my eye and I run back into the assembly room to see a ghost holding some kind of necklace out to Erin.
“Why are you giving this to me? I’m not the keeper”, I say stumbling back. “You are the Keeper Erin, your spirit fell and you were reincarnated into the body you are in, take the seal and you’ll see but there’s not much time you see the last action of the guardians is about to be undone and this world plus Avalon need’s its keeper back”, I nod and take the seal, my heart was pounding and hands were shaking at a million miles per hour literally. I put it around my neck and it glows a bright cyan then the glow starts travelling up my whole body. “What’s going on!” I yell starting to freak out. “The seal is verifying you stay calm Erin, I will explain everything just wait”, I try to stay as calm as I can I inhale and exhale multiple times my eyes tightly sealed. When the tingly sensation stopped I opened my eyes and instantly flinch as in front of me was a reflection, but it couldn’t be I looked so much like the keeper statue this is so not happening now I’m definitely grounded.
The girl stops the drawing in some kind of purple fire chalk thing and stands up, I’m still in the middle of the pentagram like she instructed, I stand up all tired of drama, I’m too tired to fight back or anything it’s better if I just accepted her words as the truth or something I mean why else would I be at a school for mythical or magical creatures if I was a normal human. “Again with the talking to yourself, Raven the spell is ready just stand there while I perform the ritual of course I’ll be right back with the blood of the person who imprisoned you I that weak form”, She then leaves and I sigh and stay put. She then walks back in with… Alice… the guardian of the seal well the leader she looked like she had been brutally tortured but goddess’ don’t die so she can have many things happen and not die just a lot of pain. “What… why have you done this to her”, I scold yelling but not daring to do anything about it. “Because she deserves it and her blood will free you”, she laughs and the proceeds to bring her to the edge of the giant purple pentagram the from out of nowhere a knife slips into her grasp and she holds it to the guardian’s throat over the pentagram. “Don’t!” I yell but it’s too late, I watch in horror as the blade slides across Alice’s throat and draws a long line of blood. It was like time itself had frozen as I watch the line slowly drip down to the circle around the pentagram. In the background there’s the evil laugh as servants take Alice back to wherever they got her from, no doubt they probably had all of the guardians. As soon as the blood touches the circle an abysmal amount of pain rushes through my body and the circle outside of the pentagram lights up in flames slowly creeping closer and closer. I tried to make a run from it but my body was glued into place. I scream at the flames form the full pentagram with the circle around it and then black………………
I turn to see the whole room bowing to me, my blonde hair no longer down instead its tied into two platted pigtails that both reach down to my lower back. I look at the seal and memories flood in, including the memory of falling and Alice… where was Alice! I looked to Persephone for help but she was bowing even as a ghost. “Persephone where are the other Alice, Lauren, Ceres where are they!” I demand in a rough tone. “Alice, Lauren all of them they have been…” Persephone looks at my eyes I see tears crawling out, this could only mean something really bad has happened to them that only made me worry my sister was nowhere to be seen and that says something bad is going on. “Where are they!” I yell even fiercer than before. “Vanessa has them my Keeper!” She instantly replied bowing again before disappearing into thin air.
I bow for a brief moment then walk out and back to the phone and apologize to father then explain what has happened, he babbles to me and I ignore him then when he’s done hang up and go back and sit by Selena’s bed. “So what’s going on out there Sky?” Selena asks me. “Not much, just that Raven is missing, Erin is the Keeper of the Seal, my father is setting up search teams to try to assist in finding Raven oh and he’s decided to personally come here to help out for a while”, “Man that sucks Sky, with your father and all I know you didn’t approve of his idea to send you here, but hey look on the bright side I’m here as well and I’m not leaving after all Always there is Our Song”, Selena smiles at me and I return her smile then lay next to her in the infirmary bed and fall asleep.
I wake up in a surprisingly comfortable bed, the girl lying next to me fast asleep, I gently move her head off my chest and then get out of the bed and decide to walk around, then I walk past a mirror and stare at myself, I then think about what happened 19 years ago and remember the night the Guardians barged in and kidnapped me killing my father and then bound me in a weak form, I have returned to my demon form now. My long black hair extending down to my ankles, I hand large black bat wings protruding from my shoulder blades, my skin wasn’t pale blue but dark purple instead of my human flesh, I was wearing the same kind of clothes than the girl and blood red high heels, my eye’s weren’t blood red but black. I walk back to the bed and lie down and play with the girl’s hair that wasn’t as long as mine was yet. “Big sister, I missed you”, she says softly and I smile at her. “What is your name little sister”, I ask her, her blood red eye’s looking straight into my black eye’s. “Vanessa, my name is Vanessa”, she replies then snuggles up closer to me. “Well Vanessa, my sister, I was just informed that my school is having some royalty visit and they also have the Keeper, so I will go back as the Raven they know until I strike, the Raven they once knew is now dead”, I laugh evilly with a killer’s facial expression. “I will not speak against you big sister, you are the queen of evil now”, she says in her soft tone and goes back to sleep. I walk into the war room and start planning out my attack on the school.
God damn it! Alice, Lauren and the others have been captured by Vanessa seems that when I fell she returned to finish her job and capture my friends, great then it also seems that I’ve been sent to a body 100’000’000 years ahead of when we were good thing 100 years here is half a year for Avalon, but the guardians are immortal so all I need to worry about is freeing them from Vanessa’s grasp, with the help of Sky’s search teams and the Seal we should be able to find Raven then the four of us can go on a rescue mission to free Alice and the guardians I’m sure Persephone should’ve explained how she got the Seal to me but that isn’t important anymore, what’s important is finding the guardians and protecting the world from Vanessa and god only knows what else she has in her dark fortress of evil, wow that sounded like one of those movie things, why am I thinking of movies we need to find Raven. It’ll only be a day before Sky’s father gets here with his search teams. “Don’t Sky and Selena make a good couple”, Jasmine says in a day dreamy tone that stops my thinking. “Huh say what Jazzy?” I ask looking confused as we reach the infirmary. “Look”, Jasmine says pointing at a bed. I look over at the bed and see Sky and Selena sleeping peacefully, I don’t know why but it made me want to Aw at them for the remainder of the day even though it’s still afternoon on the first day, if this is what the first day is like I don’t want to see the last day of school, I decide to return to my room with Jasmine and rest up for the night.
“Is… Is this a dream? Where am I?” I say as I see I’m in a mystical forest. Great I must’ve finally lost my mind; Selena is going to kill me if I ever get my mind back. “Welcome son of Enrique, you have been chosen by the elves of Avalon as the Paladin of the Gods”, a voice says from behind me. I turn to see the high mistress of elves and instantly bow in respect, the high mistress is the first elf to ever exist in our world or Avalon it’s said that she can travel between the worlds. “To what do I owe the pleasure of meeting you face to face my liege”, I say in a confident voice with a hint of nervousness. “The pleasure is all mine, it seems that all the elves have been talking about you in there whispers”, she smiles at me. “That is an honor my liege but…” “Listen to me Sky, the balance of the world and Avalon has been plunged into perilous danger, you are the chosen Paladin to fight beside the guardians and the Keeper, there is not much time, deep in the forest near Avalon high you will find the soul sword, and with it the magnificent stallion Lightning, together they are powerful, and they combine to become the brilliant sword of the lightning world known as The soul of lightning, go now and retrieve them before evil gets its hands on them”, she explains in a quick tone then without a word of reply I wake up next to Selena panting like I had just been choking until now. Selena’s body snaps awake I think she felt or heard me wake up. “Sky what’s wrong?” she asks softly her hand on my chest. “I just had a run in with the mistress of elves or a dream but she told me I needed to find the soul sword and lightning that lay deep in the forest”, I sigh embarrassed that I actually told her. “Sky that’s big, I mean this means you’re the next Paladin of the God’s, come on lets go and find them, but of course we must wait till night time”, Selena urges excitedly.
“So the soul sword and Lightning perfect well I guess that’s where I should make my fake an attack appearance, what do you think Vanessa?” I ask my sister. I had been in the war room for the last few hours drawing up plans of attack, ‘we already have 5 guardians all we need is the Keeper and I can get her to follow me easily’ I think to myself. “It’s a brilliant plan Raven, what should I do?” she replies eager to join in on the fun which sadly she’d be disappointed, for now. “Just watch sister once I have Erin, Sky, Jasmine and Selena where I want them you are free to assault the school with Fates, who alter destinies, Poltergeists, who cause mischief, Incubi and Succubus, who stimulate lust and perversion, Marching Hordes, who bring about war, Familiars, who assist witches, Nightmares, who disturb sleep through bad dreams, Disguised Demons, Demons who Assail the Saintly, Demons who Instigate Witchcraft, along with the Arch Demon’s, Acham - the demon of Thursday, Alrinach - demon of shipwrecks, Alocer - demon in astrology, Any - the presiding demon of Hell, Anamalech - the demon of bad news, Andras - the demon of discord, Aquiel - the demon of Sunday, Arachula - evil spirit in the air, Ardad - demon that leads travelers astray, Ascaroth - demon of spies and informers, Asmodeus - mentioned in the Book of Tobias; Asmodeus aka Abaddon is The Destroyer, Astaroth - one of the Chief Devils, Baal - one of the Great Demons, Bechard - the demon of tempests, Bechet - the demon of Friday, Behemoth - the demon of animal strength, Belial - demon of the Sidonians, Beelzebub - one of the Princes of Hell, Braathwaate - demon of Ignorance, Bucon - the demon of Hatred, Byleth - one of the Kings of Hell, Cheitan - demon born of Smoke, Chemos, Lanithro - demon of the air, Legassa - demon of Hypocrisy, Leviathans, Lucifer, Mammon, Mastiphal - one of the Princes of Darkness, Moloch, Saalah - demon that entices into the woods, Satan, Tenebrion - Spirit of Darkness, Verdelet - demon who carries witches to Sabbath”, I say going through the list. “I know who they are Raven”, Vanessa replies sarcastically. “I know you do but I don’t so I needed to read their profile out as well, so take them and storm the school, kill all who resist and take the others as prisoners in the dungeon then Lucifer is to destroy the school, and if any demon’s don’t do as told kill them”, I grin. “Yeah that sounds cool, but why kill them, I mean don’t we need them for the army?” “We don’t need them if they won’t listen to orders, fine tell them that if they don’t follow order’s I’ll drain them peace by peace”, “Now that’s evil sis”, Vanessa grins at me. “Good now that we have that settles I need my school clothes so I can adjust them and then our plan shall go into session”, I laugh evilly. Vanessa join in the laugh, she goes around the palace rounding up all the demons and Arch Demon’s. “How do I look?” I say presenting myself wearing ripped school clothes. “You look absolutely perfect”, Vanessa answers hugging me. I then teleport to the forest just outside Avalon high and walk deep into it.
Chapter 7: the soul of Lightning
I wait in what was to be Raven, Jasmine and my room, I hear singing come from the infirmary and figured it was probably Sky singing to Selena. Jasmine was sleeping on top bunk and Raven was nowhere to be seen great! So tomorrow Sky’s father gets here and we begin the search for Raven in the forest. Not exactly what I wanted my second day at school to be like but things change, a lot of things change, now I’m the keeper, Raven’s missing, and Sky is with Selena, though they are a cute couple, I wonder what it would be like back at my normal high school with Amy and Emily well guess I’ll never find out figures doesn’t it when I finally start making friends at my high school I need to move to a new school. I start getting sleepy and dose off.
“Come on Sky let’s go get Erin and Jasmine and find lightning and the soul sword”, Selena says tugging my arm in a painful manor. “Okay Selena calm down we’ll go get them just stop tugging my arm it hurts ‘cause you’ve been pulling it for the last hour” I laugh. “Sorry Sky I’m just so excited!” Selena’s voice almost shouts from the infirmary but I got my hand over her mouth before she could. “Shhh be quiet Selena or everyone will know”, I say in a quick whisper. Selena nods her head and we sneak out of the infirmary and down the corridor to the dorm rooms. I tip toe then get a room number that I think Raven, Jasmine and Erin were sharing; I quietly knock on the door. “Who’s there!” a girls voice booms from the other side and then four girls open and gasp as they see me and pounce on me. “Wrong room!” I say and start to run away. “Ya think”, Selena says not hiding the sarcasm in her voice. We manage to lose the girls even though I wasn’t sure if they were chasing us or not. “That was close”, I say huffing and puffing my chest heavy, my lungs taking in a large amount of oxygen. “Sky why don’t we just check my room number, I mean I’m rooming with Erin and them”, Selena says breathing heavily. “You should’ve mentioned that before we knocked”, I reply laughing. Selena gets out her schedule and goes through looking for her room number. I wait patiently looking out in case anyone came to find us. “Ahuh! I’m in room 2765”, Selena says triumphantly holding her key. “Wow there must be a lot of students here then”, I say laughing and poke Selena. ”Hey! That’s not nice I’ll get you”, Selena exclaims and then starts chasing me down the corridor to her room. As we reach the door it gets silent, Selena finally catches up to me. “Here we are room 2765”, I say smiling warmly at Selena. I then knock on the door.
‘knock knock’ I hear that sound on the door and get out of bed Jasmine following my action I open the door to see Sky and Selena. “What do you two want” I yawn tired. “Erin, Jasmine we think you should come with us to retrieve Lightning and the Soul sword”, Sky says enthusiastically. “You mean the sword and stallion that grants you the Soul of Lighting the second most powerful weapon made in Avalon besides the seal… Sure I’m in”, I say and go to the bathroom and change. We get ready and head out of the school and into the forest I follow Sky’s lead but I had an uneasy feeling that something knew we were coming.
I lead the way next to Selena, my guitar on my back; we walk through the dense forest quietly and softly well Selena and I did we grew up learning how to be silent and I felt most at home in the forest which is most probably unusual to human’s but no to elves forests are our home ground the one place we feel at home is in a forest, to be honest I missed it. “Are you sure we’re going the right way?” Jasmine asks. “Positive if any species knows a forest it’s an Elf, Selena and I are right at home”, I reply smiling warmly to make their hopes feel better and continue walking gently moving leaves and branches out of our way. “Okay and you’d better be correct about this soul sword and stallion or I’ll kill you in the morning”, Jasmine jokes but it didn’t sound like a joke at all but anyway it is Jasmine. I move some leaves and we find a magnificent dragon bone handled sword in a stone and I stare at it, it was magnificent. “Whoa is that the sword and look next to it is a statue of a horse”, Selena says her excitement elevating. “Well go on claim your sword and stallion”, Erin says sacking my back with her hand lightly but it felt like a whack. I slowly approach it and run my hand on the handle of the blade then making sure I have a firm grip I pull the sword; it comes out like it was a feather in the sand easy and sharp. As soon as the blade comes out of the stone the statue of lightning starts glowing as cracks appear in the stone, all of a sudden the stone flies off and there standing in front of me is a stallion whiter than white. I then hear a rustling sound in the forest and a girl comes out, clothes all torn she looked like she had been mauled by an angry tigerdillo.
A girl stumbles out of the bushes her clothe all torn, I wonder what happened then as soon as I see her black hair I realize who it is. “Raven! What happened?” I yell and instantly go to her side and help her stopping her from falling, she faints in my arms. “We need to get her to the infirmary as soon as possible”, I say and start to run through the forest Raven in my arms Jasmine, Selena, Sky the soul sword and lightning following us. We eventually get back to school and rush into the infirmary with Raven. All the students come to see what all the commotion was as I hear them all gasp as they see Raven’s condition, Sky’s dad had arrived and he was talking through what had happened with Lightning and all of the above things, Jasmine and I sit by Raven’s bed each holding a hand hoping for her to wake up. “Come on Raven wake up don’t ditch me now”, I hear Jasmine pleading she was unusual it seemed that Raven’s condition has scared Jasmine even though I thought Jasmine was one of those I’m too tough to get scared person but guess not. “Ugh Jasmine is that you?” Raven says in a weak tone starting to open her eye’s, Jasmine and I sigh in relief. “Raven you had us worried out of our minds”, Jasmine says hugging her. “Yeah next time don’t you know disappear on us”, I add. “Sorry after that orb thingy took me I fell into a cave as was attacked by demons next thing I know I’m in the jungle and then you guys popped up”, Raven explains to us. “Raven! Oh my god you scared me”, the principle says coming up and hugging her daughter, I wish my parents would hug me like that.
My mum hugs me but I knew she wasn’t my mother, my mother died protecting me, like any mother would do, I see through her lies now and I won’t listen to any other lies anymore soon the school will no longer exist and that will be phase one of taking over the world that I swear. “Mum I was so scared I didn’t know what to do”, I sob. “I know but now you’re safe, Sky’s father and his patrols will be in the school helping out just in case something comes along that will require extra help”, she says and the leaves with a kiss goodnight. “Raven, you know the guardians right, they’re in trouble and we need to help them”, Erin whispers sharply in my ear. “no I didn’t know but I guess I could try to locate them for you”, I answer, of course she knew they were in trouble but it’s too late for them, Vanessa had made them into ice statues. I wait for them to leave then message Vanessa. “Sister prepare for attack when I bring the others in order the attack then meet me back in the palace as soon as you can”, “Got you sister, Vanessa out”, Vanessa replies then the message disappears.
Chapter 8: End of Avalon high
The sun rises over the dense forest making the velvet sky a light shade of pinks and oranges, I awake the warm stretching sun rays on my light skin, I get up and get dressed in normal school uniform and join my friends at the breakfast table; nor many students were up since it was dawn. When I sit down and start eating a bowl of lucky charms, Erin was explaining the plan. “Since we have Sky, with the soul sword and Lightning I doubt Vanessa will be prepared for us”, Erin says to me. I felt like telling her that she was wrong and we know everything but that would ruin the plan of destroying Avalon high so I just nod and agree. After breakfast I told everyone to meet me behind the school with their gear ready for the rescue mission. “Um Raven how are we going to get to them?” Jasmine asks me. “I read about a spell of locating and used it to find them now just a portal spell to them and we are good”, I say simply. “Sounds simple enough”, Selena mumbles to Sky who had the sword in its scabbard and lightning next to him. “Ok are we all ready?” I ask. “Yes”, they all reply in unison. I then chant the spell over and over again “¡Una puerta al diablo que necesitamos, una puerta al diablo que necesitamos, la Sangre de hombre de diablo y luna, una puerta al diablo vamos a yeald, el alma de la penumbra de destrucción de muerte, una puerta al diablo convocamos!” A purple orb twice the size of the other one appears. “After you”, I say gesturing for them to enter. As they enter I send a message to Vanessa before entering myself. “Sister Attack!” I say then jump into the portal and appear next to them in my Palace. “Ok now we are here I suggest we split up, Erin you and Jasmine go left, Sky you take Selena right with lightning, I’ll go straight ahead”, I say giving direct orders. None of them speak against me because they all believe I know what I’m doing and I do, to the left is a portal to the most powerful holding cell and to the right is another portal to the same Cell, they walk into the portals and disappear, Vanessa appears next to me. “That was easier than ever they must really trust you”, “It makes the betrayal all that much sweeter”, “Ha sis you are the master of disaster aren’t you”, “I am and soon all of Avalon high will be gone and I’ll never have to raise my eyes on that accursed place again !” I hiss. “Come they’ll be getting anxious we’d better not hold them to long little sister”, I say and start walking to the dungeon. Vanessa follows me as we walk past all the rooms then down the marble stone staircase to the dungeons, the cell they are in is directly opposite from where the statues of the guardians are, I’m sure Erin will freak out. as we enter they are bashing the wall with their hands, legs anything they can use even Sky has the sword out and lightning is trying to run the barrier down. “I wouldn’t do that if I were you”, I say on the other side of the barrier. “Raven get us out of here!” Jasmine says to me. Vanessa walks up next to me and laughs at them. “Raven watch out it’s Vanessa!” Erin warns yelling. “They act as if they think I’m dangerous sister, well I am just not as much as you”, she says to me. “Sister!” they all exclaim as the same time. “Yes I am Vanessa’s sister, wasn’t it your guardians who took me from my family well now I’m returning the favor by destroying their beloved earth”, I laugh and then start glowing ad black shade if aura. My body changes into it demon queen form wings protruding from my back, skin pale blue and I grew taller, my body adjusting into its perfect shape, I was perfect from head to toes. “The guardians will stop you!” Sky yells. “I would find that hard since they are all here”, I say evilly as I pull a curtain cord making the blinds fly off to reveal solid ice statues of the five Guardians. All of them gasp in horror and I laugh and hug Vanessa. “It seems that I have won, Avalon high will soon be nothing”, I grin and bring up a screen that shows my demon army descending upon Avalon high all everyone is outnumbered 5 to 1. “You have a choice join me and be my slaves or be destroyed, the same choice is being given to those students at Avalon high, I have had reports that a lot of the students have already submitted to my command so what is your choice”, I grin evilly and pace up and down the cell. “I will never follow you”, Erin hisses at me. “Neither will lightning or I”, Sky adds. “Or me!” Selena practically yells. “I-I-I-I will serve you Raven, you’ve been my best friend since we first met I will stand by you”, Jasmine says looking down. “I knew you would Jasmine, you may walk through the barrier”, I gesture to her to walk. Jasmine walks through the barrier unharmed, when Erin, Sky and Selena try they get shocked full of dark energy. “Come Jasmine, sister we have business to attend to, you three enjoy watching Avalon high fall”, I say and walk out of the room Jasmine and Vanessa following me. We walk into my throne room Vanessa by my side Jasmine on the other side and I bring up a bigger screen and watch the destruction of Avalon high. “Vanessa call Lucifer back we need him for a little something”, I say and dismiss her. “Jasmine, you like the other students will be turned into hybrids with demon blood but I have some special blood for you to drink after all my personal guard needs to be powerful”, I say and grin then produce a goblet and I grab a small blade and make a line on my hand that starts to bleed I then poor blood into the goblet filling it up, when it is full I lick the cut and it seals itself. “Drink up Jasmine”, I say handing her the goblet full of blood knowing very well that her vampire species can’t resist the smell and taste of blood especially demon blood for it is pure evil. Jasmine takes the goblet with two hands and starts drinking, as soon as the blood touches her tongue I hear her start gulping it down blood spills and goes down her shirt staining it black. As she finishes the goblet drops from her grasp and she just sits there on her knees looking dazed her mouth open blood dripping down the side of her lips. Her body suddenly arches up now glowing a dark shade of aura, she starts levitating her body arched back making her stomach show, black wings start growing out of her back. “AH!” Jasmine screams as her body submits to my demon blood and then she drops onto the floor. She gets up slowly her fangs just resting on her lips eyes glowing purple wings outstretched. “Welcome to the demon horde Jasmine”, I laugh. “Pleasure to serve you mistress”, she replies in a hissing sound. “The time of humans, elves and all the other creatures is at an end its time for the demons to Rise and take the world by force”, I announce in a booming voice. All the demons roar excitedly and Jasmine holds her fist over her heart signaling elegance to me and stands next to me on the other side of Vanessa who returned from getting Lucifer. “The end is near Avalon”, I laugh and sit down watching Avalon high fall as warrior after warrior fall my demon army shrouds the school destroying anything in their way apart from those who surrender but soon would they find that the world is about to become a world ruled by me the queen of evil.
